The researchers' interest in the phenomenon of ethnic identity is due to the universality of this phenomenon and its possible transformation under the influence of various social conditions. The psychological characteristics of a multiethnic region are associated with the tendency to preserve cultural diversity, which can be reflected in the basic parameters of a person's ethnic identity. The article considers research on the specifics of the manifestation of ethnic identity in the territory of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), dynamics in various socio-cultural conditions. The article presents the results of a study of indicators of ethnic identity of the Yakuts living in the territory of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The main indicators considered are the severity of ethnic identity, positivity and uncertainty of ethnic identity, types of ethnic identity. The study was conducted in 2023–2024, 887 respondents took part, gender distribution: men — 304, women — 583. Methods, etc.

This article discusses the problem of quality of teaching in the subject of chemistry. The main problem in teaching the subject is the insufficient development of intellectual and creative abilities among students. To develop intellectual and creative abilities in the subject of chemistry, we have proposed conducting elective courses and solving Olympiad problems in the subject ҺChemistryһ. School Olympiads in the academic subject ҺChemistryһ are held as additional extracurricular activities. The main goal of the study is to develop a methodology for developing intellectual and creative abilities among students in the subject ҺChemistryһ. The objective of the study is to develop a methodological model and methodology for achieving intellectual results of students through the school Olympiad in chemistry. When conducting the study, the need to study the problem associated with preparing students for subject Olympiads in the subject ҺChemistryһ was substantiated, effective methods and methods of preparation were identified, which further contribute to the formation of scientific thinking in students. The study presents examples of Olympiad problems, a plan for the preparation, organization and conduct of an elective course in the subject ҺChemistryһ. When working according to the developed plan, students will develop skills in solving non-standard problems using a creative approach. Training was conducted with solving Olympiad problems and participating in quizzes. After the training stage, a control was carried out to identify the level of development of figurative memory and intellectual skills. The development of figurative memory after the training stage is distributed as follows: for the control group the level was 28,57 %, for the experimental group 43,60 %. The level of development of intellectual skills was also determined: for the control group it was 23,80 %, for the experimental group it was 47,90 %. Thus, we can conclude that when solving Olympiad problems during chemistry lessons, students will be motivated and interested in learning the subject, and will be able to master new material faster and more efficiently.

The article presents a theoretical and empirical study of self-regulation strategies as the basis for effective cognitive activity of high school students. The article presents an empirical study aimed at identifying the features of adaptive and non-adaptive self-regulation strategies. The study involved 120 graduating students aged 17-18 years. The study was conducted using the following methods: questionnaire of emotion regulation (ERQ) (J. Gross and O. John) in adaptation by Pankratova A.A., Kornienko D.S., "Questionnaire of cognitive errors" (Ivanova E.S., Ratnikova E.M., Tomilin E.V.), "Coping behavior in stressful situations" (S.N. Norman, N. Endler, D.A. James, J. Parker) in the adaptation of Kryukova T.A.), "Cognitive regulation of emotions" CERQ (N. Garnevski, V. Kraig) in the adaptation of Pisareva O.L., Gritsenko A. The results of the empirical study show that there are differences between students who prefer adaptive and negative (non-adaptive) strategies. But it cannot be said that schoolchildren with an adaptive strategy are characterized only by their positive characteristics, as well as in the group of children with negative self-regulation in difficult or stressful situations, students in most cases avoid the problem by distracting themselves with other, more positive things, or by communicating with friends. The article presents a theoretical and empirical study of self-regulation strategies as the basis for effective cognitive activity of high school students.
