В статье рассматривается этногенез прототунгусов, который, по мнению автора, связывается с эпохой сибирского неолита. В результате междисциплинарного исследования автор выдвигает гипотезу о том, что формирование прототунгусского культурного комплекса происходило на обширной территории Сибири в процессе освоения хозяйственных традиций подвижной культуры пеших охотников. Исходные ареалы формирования прототунгусских популяций обозначаются в пределах вилюйско-катангского и байкало-амурского регионов. Историческое развитие прототунгусов сопровождалось разнообразными этногенетическими контактами, что обусловило постепенное разделение северных и южных тунгусов в глазковскую эпоху и формирование тунгусо-маньчжурских групп и народов в более позднее время.
The article is devoted to the current and debatable issue of the Tungus-Manchu people history. The article considers the ethno-genesis of the Proto-Tungus, which is associated with the Siberian Neolithic era. The research methodology is based on an interdisciplinary approach, which draws on the results of archaeology, anthropology, genetics, ethnography, folklore studies and linguistics. As a result of research, the author concludes that the formation of the Proto-Tungus cultural complex took place on a vast territory of Siberia in the process of mastering the economic traditions of the culture of hunters on foot. The original areas of formation of the Proto-Tungus populations are designated within the Vilyuy-Katanga and Baikal-Amur areas. The distant ancestors of the Evenk and related peoples should be considered to be the bearers of the Baikal and Katanga anthropological types of the Baikal race. The historical development of the Proto- Tungus was accompanied by various ethno-genetic contacts, which led to the gradual separation of the northern and southern Tungus in the Glazkov era and individual Tungus-Manchu groups and peoples at a later time
