В статье рассматриваются возможности применения новой теории культурной травмы в интерпретации регионального социально-культурного контекста и биографии Гавриила Васильевича Ксенофонтова (1888-1938). Такой подход представляется адекватной и эффективной исследовательской программой, в отличии традиционной концепции подчинения духовной надстройки экономическому базису. Это дает допустить автономный статус региональной культуры, который является неким способом видения (оптикой) социальной жизни Якутии первой половины XX века.
The article examines the possibilities of applying the new theory of cultural trauma in the interpretation of the regional socio-cultural context and the biography of Gavriil Vasilyevich Ksenofontov (1888-1938). This approach seems to be an adequate and effective research program, in contrast to the traditional concept of subordinating the spiritual superstructure to the economic basis. This gives us the autonomous status of regional culture, which is a kind of way of seeing (optics) the social life of Yakutia in the first half of the XX century.

В статье обозначена проблема социальной амнезии, как одной из самых интригующих проблем в современном мире. С возрастанием ролей социальной принадлежности, отторжения культурной памяти или неверной трактовки прошлых событий приводят к появлению феномена амнезии. Социальная амнезия является потерей памяти, приводящей людей к ложному мышлению. Человек, не имеющий представления о своем прошлом, делает неверные выводы о своем настоящем, а значит и будущем.
